THREE fantastic opportunities are being given to join the train operator's fleet team in Cardiff and Machynlleth

Arriva Trains Wales want to recruit people with a passion for engineering, great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

With a proven track record for developing apprenticeships in all fields, we are delighted to once again be offering three more people the chance to work in the railway industry.

Recruitment & Talent Advisor for  Arriva Trains, Wales Kirsty McAndrew, said: “This is a superb opportunity to join our talented, passionate and highly skilled fleet team.

We are lucky to have some incredibly talented and experienced engineers at ATW and this is a rare chance to work alongside them, to learn from them and be mentored by them to realise and fulfil your potential.

We already have a proven track record for developing apprentices here at Arriva Trains Wales, the majority of whom have gone on to a successful career in the rail industry.”

This is an exciting opportunity during which you will complete an engineering apprenticeship in Traction and Rolling Stock. Your training will take 4 years during which you will be required to obtain a level 3 NVQ and complete an engineering qualification up to HNC or equivalent.
